Exotic matter is data leaking into our world at portals. It’s a coded signal sent by the shapers. We use the scanner to try and decipher their glyphs and decode their messages but sometimes I can’t help but feel like I’m talking to a ghost. There’s something familiar about their presence like someone that I used to know. If you’ve played racing games then you know in a time trial the fastest racer gets recorded as the ghost car. Ten years later and you can pickup an old racing game and the ghost car will still be racing around the track. Well if history is open to interpretation then so can this. The ghost car is how I’ve always thought of the shapers. That they aren’t aliens they’re us. They’re agents from an alternate reality and they’re trying to broadcast a message to anyone who will hear it.
I forbindelse med Covid-19 indførtes online (virtuelle) First Saturdays (FS). I 2023 har man kunne organisere både online (virtuelle) eller onsite (fysisk) FS.
Begge disse muligheder forsætter i 2024 med den ene ændring at online (virtuelle) FS ikke vil give kredit til First Saturdays medaljen.
Så for at få kredit til FS medaljen i 2024 vil det kræve at du:
Niantic har annonceret at man i hele Discoverie Anomaly perioden, dvs. indtil 17. december, 2023 vil kunne linke op til 8km under felter (normalt kun 500m).
Den 2023-09-29 blev der bygget grønne felter der dækkede særligt den nordlige del af Fyn.
Hvor meget MU mangler du til Onyx? …
Det hele startede ca en uge forinden med beskeden “Hvor meget MU mangler du til onyx?” efterfulgt af en ide til en plan på 7 lag. Der blev hurtigt stemning for mere, men der manglede lidt flere nøgler. Så i forbindelse med weekend planer der passede godt sammen blev der hacket og udvekslet nøgler i løbet af ingen tid.
I forhold til datoen blev onsdag valgt. Hvor Hvenekær skulle have skudt en blå portal som i mellemtiden ikke var blevet recharged og var blevet neutral. Tirsdag var der blevet rekrutteret en anden spiller som ville kunne skyde den sidste portal ned som havde flere spærre links. Den pågældende spiller havde nær skudt den ned med det samme om tirsdagen, altså dagen før da vedkommende havde troet det var samme dag der var tale om. Dette blev heldigvis bremset så der ikke kom andre trælse spærre links i vejen.
Dagen sagde herefter onsdag og så var vi klar….. Eller det troede vi. SorenDecay som var planlagt til at lave felter i Nyborg stod ved start portalen og ventede…. Og ventede… Og ventede. Desværre var spilleren som skulle skyde en portal ned med spærre links ikke dukket op og ca 30 minutter efter vi skulle have været startet, hvor det ikke var lykkedes at få kontakt til spilleren, blev planen afblæst….. For denne gang.
Hvenekær og SorenDecay skrev lidt frem og tilbage og super belejligt viste det sig at de begge havde tid i kalenderen til fredag aften den 2023-09-29.
SorenDecay tager til start portalen i Nyborg og da Hvenekær giver start signalet og skyder portalen med spærre links ned, så begynder planen klokken 19.25.
Da det første lag er kommet op og i et lettere dryppende vejr kommer de efterfølgende op en efter en. Undervejs var der lidt udfordringer med items der kunne været forberedt bedre inden start.
Da lag nummer 19 er lavet på vippefyret, bliver vippefyret flippet og lavet endnu engang og felterne står nu og ser så pæne ud på kortet.

PxA: Yes, I can't do this without you. I need your theoretical mind working on how Machina may adapt. Maybe we can even figure out where it comes from.
