We have tracked the formation of multiple Linkstars in the field. These operations represent a highly coordinated effort by what we assume to be a coordinated group of Enlightened Agents..
Over the past weeks, I've observed both Factions - Resistance and Enlightened - working together, knowingly or unknowingly, toward balance within the XM network and containing the spread of anomalous activity. This sudden, synchronized action by the Enlightened stands apart. It appears deliberate and calculated.. My Enlightened contact, Makoto, assured me that is not personally aware of or behind this operation. This raises an important question: who among the Enlightened is orchestrating this?
While I can not verify this independently, Makoto has described the two Akiras (for those unaware, the mass-spread of anomalous Portal activity coincides with the sudden appearance of a second Akira Tsukasa in our universe from origins unknown some months ago) becoming increasingly close and to a degree conspiratorial. Makoto described them as operating almost as a unity, like twins that shared some kind of deep and indescribable connection.
It is plausible that the Akiras may be behind this operationalized increase in Linkstars, and while they are both reputable scientists, we should consider the possibility that there may be a Faction specific goal at play and act accordingly. Over 17 independent Linkstars have been observed at the time of this report.
While the underlying reasoning behind the Enlightened Operation is not yet clear, the possibility of a coordinated operation, in particular one that may be related to XM's known mind-altering effects, requires an immediate response. We must counter the Enlightened Linkstar operations with our own immediately and match or exceed their scale while intelligence gathering proceeds. Avoid direct interference without advanced tools or reinforcements on-site.
This phenomenon demands our full attention, but we must proceed with caution. Understanding the purpose and potential risks of the Linkstars is critical. Stay vigilant, be safe, and prioritize communication and observation as we move forward.
